Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited nursing school or practical certificate program is required
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Current New Mexico Nursing license, BLS issued through American Heart Association. CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Proficient knowledge in Midas
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good conflict resolution skills
  • Project management skills, highly desired
  • Ability to effectively evaluate medical records.
  • Competence with word processing, spreadsheet, and data management computer applications.
    EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience of which a minimum of two years have been spent in an acute care setting; med/surg or critical care experience preferred. One year of quality management experience preferred. Experience with data collection and analysis preferred.
