We’re looking for a Quality Management Director to lead and scale our quality strategy across a growing European portfolio of solar (PV) and battery energy storage (BESS) projects. This is a strategic and hands-on role, responsible for building a robust, end-to-end Quality Management framework—from supplier selection through manufacturing, delivery, and asset lifecycle performance. Responsibilities Define and lead the company-wide Quality Management framework across PV & BESS technologies Oversee supplier qualification, performance, and risk management across key components Lead technical due diligence and advise on component selection, new technologies, and supplier changes Drive factory audits, production inspections, and manufacturing quality oversight globally Ensure compliance with IEC, ISO, UL, and BESS safety standards Establish quality KPIs, reporting, and lifecycle processes across development, construction, and operations Support incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and claims management Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Asset Management teams Build and promote a strong quality culture across regions and partners Requirements 5+ years’ experience in quality management within PV, BESS, or power systems Strong background in supplier quality, manufacturing audits, and technology evaluation Solid knowledge of IEC/ISO standards and BESS safety frameworks (e.g., UL9540A, NFPA 855) Technical degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, or similar) Proven ability to operate in a global, cross-functional environment Willingness to travel across Europe and to manufacturing sites

Responsibilities

Lead and scale the quality management strategy for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects across Europe. This includes overseeing supplier qualification, conducting factory audits, and ensuring compliance with international safety and quality standards.
