We are looking for support for our Category & Private Label team, as Ackerherz currently does not have its own Quality Manager. With the development of our private label, we need someone to set up our quality processes regarding product sourcing and storage, and to ensure that we comply with all documentation guidelines. You will be supported by our experienced quality team at La Fourche, whose tools, templates, and expertise you will adapt to German regulatory requirements.

Your focus is on collaborating with suppliers, our warehouse, and authorities to build a quality framework that will enable Ackerherz to grow beyond its current categories and products. 💪🚀

Area of ​​responsibility

Product quality and regulatory compliance of our new private label

• Support for product development from sourcing to launch: Ensuring full regulatory compliance of new products according to German and EU food law, labeling and allergen requirements.
• Coordination of initial production controls for new private label products

Supplier qualification, verification & audits

• Qualification and onboarding of new suppliers: review of technical data sheets, organic certificates, laboratory results and certificates of analysis (CoA); inspection of incoming batches.
• Planning and execution of supplier audits in Germany and Europe, in coordination with the La Fourche quality team.
• End-to-end responsibility for supplier non-conformities: identification, documentation, resolution.

Development and further development of the quality function

• Development and implementation of Ackerherz's first quality management framework: documentation, SOPs, supplier files, non-conformity tracking.
• Adaptation of La Fourche's existing tools and processes to German/EU regulatory requirements.
• Definition of warehouse quality standards together with the fulfillment partner (incoming goods inspections, cold chain monitoring, hygiene).
• End-to-end handling of quality complaints from members with fast resolution and clean handover to our Customer Care Team.
• Setting up a reporting system for all relevant quality KPIs.
• Continuous improvement and digitization of quality documentation and processes.
