About this job

To support our team, we are looking for an EHS & IMS Manager (m/f/d) to start immediately at our location in Bechhofen near Ansbach on a full-time basis.

Here's what you can expect:

  • You will assume overall responsibility for all Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) issues at European level and ensure compliance with legal and internal requirements.
  • You continuously manage and develop overarching quality and management system topics within the European organization.
  • You plan, coordinate and support internal and external audits and certifications – from preparation and execution to follow-up of measures.
  • You will work closely with authorities, auditors, certification bodies and internal stakeholders across Europe.
  • You analyze key performance indicators, identify potential for improvement, and derive sustainable optimization measures.
  • You develop training and awareness measures and strengthen awareness of safety, quality and sustainability.
  • You promote a sustainable safety, quality and continuous improvement culture in the European environment.

You bring the following:

  • You have successfully completed a degree in engineering, environmental management, safety engineering, quality management or a comparable qualification.
  • You bring several years of professional experience in the field of EHS, quality management, IMS or in a comparable role – ideally in an international environment.
  • You are familiar with the relevant management system standards such as ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 and have experience in their application and further development.
  • You have already accompanied audits and certifications and are confident in dealing with authorities, auditors and certification bodies.
  • You have a good understanding of relevant legal requirements in environmental, health and occupational safety.
  • You work in a structured, analytical and solution-oriented manner and maintain an overview even with complex topics.
  • You impress with your strong communication skills, initiative, and ability to win over different stakeholders for common goals.
  • You communicate confidently in German and English – both orally and in writing.
