Your tasks

Key Targets of the Job:

  • Improves Customer Satisfaction and the overall QM System by developing, maintaining, and implementing global QM procedures / processes and standards for group sector Tires.
  • Ensures conformity and continuous improvement of a.m. global QM processes & standards

Main Tasks:

  • Develop and continuously improve (review of existing processes incl. process mapping & RASI definition) global standards for key Quality Assurance & Control process (e.g. NAR - New Application Release, IRMP - Internal Release of product relevant Machines and Processes, Nonconformance management, QM hold, …) for group sector Tires.
  • Ensure / drive effective implementation of Quality Assurance & Control process by providing needed guidance (sharing knowledge & expertise) & training to all affected / respective functions in all Business Areas (BA’s) and Central Functions (CF’s).
  • Support BA´s in initiation and execution of respective Quality Assurance & Control process (e.g. coordination of actions to control, release / scrap QM hold inventory, execution of IRMP /NAR process whenever required (methodical support),…)
  • Oversee issued QM Hold´s & QM Stop´s, initiated NARs ww to create transparency on current situation (regular reporting)
  • Maintain Quality Assurance & Control process and related documents in central QM system

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar education, preferably in a technical field. University degree in Engineering or in Economics and Management as preferred areas, demonstrating a strong foundation in mapping processes system knowledge and understanding
  • > 5+ years related experience (development, manufacturing, quality or similar) in the rubber industry (preferred)
  • Preferably experience in interface management between global, regional, and local functions in a worldwide organization.
  • Business Process Management experience
  • Quality Management - understanding of Quality Assurance & Control processes (e.g. NAR, IRMP, QM Hold, Nonconformance management…)
  • Interface management skills (incl. different functional areas, cultures, and hierarchical levels)
  • Quality tools knowledge such as SPS structured problem solving (8D, A3, etc.)
  • Auditing according to DIN/ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949
  • Tire production and manufacturing processes knowledge (preferred)
  • Communication skills and Presentation skills
  • Project leadership and steering/cooperation of remote multidisciplinary teams
  • Preferably international work experience in cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Intercultural sensitivity
  • Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Willingness to travel
