Description
Imagine stepping into a role where your expertise doesn’t just ensure compliance—it drives excellence. You're not stepping into a role — you're stepping into a mission. You’ll be the mastermind behind the from-scratch implementation of our integrated management system for quality (ISO 9001). You’ll own the blueprint, the build, and the execution. At Destinus, quality isn’t just a requirement—it’s a revolution. We push boundaries, challenge norms, and raise the bar every time. As our Quality Management System Coordinator, you’ll be the guardian of our quality management systems, ensuring our aerospace innovations meet and exceed global standards. If you’re passionate about precision, thrive in high-stakes environments, and love the thrill of uncovering ways to improve processes, this is the role for you! At Destinus, we are revolutionizing the defense industry with cutting-edge Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Our innovative technologies are designed to meet the unique demands of modern defense operations, delivering unparalleled speed, precision, and cost effectiveness. Destinus partners with government agencies and defense organizations worldwide to provide advanced solutions for mission-critical operations, enabling a new era of efficiency and technological superiority. Join us in shaping the future of defense with groundbreaking aerospace innovations. What You’ll Do · Own the end-to-end implementation of ISO 9001 from a blank slate across multiple sites and functions. · Conduct deep gap assessments and define a clear roadmap for system development, certification, and continuous improvement. · Design and build the full integrated management system architecture including policies, procedures, templates, KPIs, and audit mechanisms. · Establish robust internal audit programs, risk registers, and management review processes that align with both compliance and business goals. · Drive company-wide cultural change—turning quality, sustainability, and safety into shared mindsets, not siloed functions. · Train and empower cross-functional teams to adopt and own the systems, building operational maturity and accountability across departments. · Act as the primary liaison with certification bodies, ensuring successful audits and ongoing compliance. · Lead internal and supplier assessments, identifying gaps, driving root cause analysis, and ensuring effective corrective actions. · Collaborate with engineering, production, and leadership to embed quality principles into every layer of our operations. · Report directly to executive leadership with regular updates on implementation progress, risk mitigation, and performance improvement. · Minimum 7+ years of experience leading quality management systems in industrial, aerospace, defense, or high-tech environments—preferably across multiple sites or countries. · Proven track record in designing and implementing ISO 9001 and EN9100 (desirable) standards from scratch, with full ownership of the certification lifecycle. · Certified Lead Auditor (LAC – 40hr recognized course) for ISO 9001, with extensive hands-on auditing experience. · Expert-level knowledge of Quality standards (ISO 9001 and EN 9100, mainly), EU regulatory frameworks, BSI standards and global best practices in Quality management systems. · Strong expertise in risk-based thinking, process optimization, corrective actions, and driving performance through data. · Experience managing and mentoring cross-functional teams during audits, implementation projects, and continuous improvement initiatives · Exceptional strategic communication skills—you can influence C-level stakeholders and frontline teams alike, turning complexity into clarity. · Fluency in English (written and spoken) with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, multicultural, and technically diverse environment. Who you are You’re not just an auditor—you’re a problem solver, a strategist, and a leader. You see beyond checklists and regulations, understanding how quality drives innovation. You thrive in fast-paced environments and love working with trailblazing teams. When you spot an inefficiency, you don’t just highlight it—you provide solutions. You take ownership, communicate with confidence, and inspire others to raise the bar. Why Join Us? ✨ The Thrill of the Future – Work on cutting-edge projects that redefine aerospace. ✨ Global Innovation Hub – Collaborate with top engineers from all over the world. ✨ Fast-Paced & High-Growth – Experience the rush of working in a rapidly expanding company. ✨ Real Impact – Your work won’t be theoretical—it will shape the future of flight. Destinus is an equal-opportunity employer. We value diversity in our companies and our teams and do not discriminate based on age, race, religion, color, country of origin, gender, sexual orientation, or disability status. 🚀 Destinus – Challenge the limits of time, space, and human potential.
