About the Project & Opportunity:
Acciona is set to deliver the Eyre Peninsula Desalination Plant. With early works underway, we are looking to add to our delivery team by engaging an experienced Quality Manager.
Based in Port Lincoln, as the Quality Manager you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing the Quality Management Plan. Working closely with our project team including engineers, designers and supervisors, you will drive our quality systems to achieve project outcomes.

Key accountabilities for the position will be:

  • Manage the quality management plans and systems across the project ensuring traceability from production to commissioning using RIBCX
  • Perform regular formal internal and external reporting and auditing on quality systems and processes.
  • Ensure the management and security of all soft and hard copy documents for the project.
  • Liaise with all key internal and external stakeholders to ensure process consistency across all levels.
  • Provide advice where required on formal responses pertaining to NCR’s and other defective items.
  • Manage the as-built process ensuring all project records related to construction work are up to date and compliant.

Required Skills and Competencies

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role (ideally within complex civil infrastructure)
  • Excellent understanding of quality management system tools. Experience with RIBCX would be highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and maintenance of document management systems.
  • Well-developed communication, problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Proven in the development, coaching, and mentoring of staff and sub-contractors.
