POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead and oversee the quality assurance activities in our precision manufacturing environment. The Quality Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements, while driving continuous improvement across all quality processes. This role is critical to maintaining our reputation for producing high-performance components with exacting standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements, such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or ISO 13485.
  • Proficiency with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, PPAP, MSA, and GD&T.
  • Experience with precision measurement equipment (CMM, micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Certification such as CQE, CQM/OE, or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and quality modules is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), including compliance with standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100.
  • Oversee inspection, testing, and quality control processes throughout production, from raw material to final product.
  • Lead internal and external audits, manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensure timely resolution of non-conformances.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including inspection procedures, control plans, work instructions, and SOPs.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and ensure alignment with customer specifications.
  • Manage the calibration program and ensure measuring equipment is maintained and traceable to standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts (using 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, etc.) and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Monitor and analyze quality KPIs, prepare quality reports, and present data-driven insights to leadership.
  • Support supplier quality management through audits, scorecards, and incoming inspection protocols.
  • Train and mentor quality inspectors and production staff on quality standards and procedures.
