Job Description: Role The Quality Manager will be responsible for managing the Quality System at the MRO Base. He will monitor the compliance and adequacy of procedures required to ensure safe maintenance practices and airworthy aircraft. This role will report to the AHA Head of Aviation Safety & Quality. Responsibilities Part 145 compliance - Ensure all maintenance activities comply with AH standards and AHA procedures for Part 145 maintenance. Occurrence reporting - Manage the occurrence reporting tool (SafetyCube) for the Base and assist in investigating quality lapses or safety issues. Oversight and control - Ensure that the workshop, tools, and spares/consumables meet Part 145 standards. Oversee the issuance and renewal of maintenance certifications and authorizations for certifying staff. Oversee the CAMO functions for AD/SB management and the Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP). Safety Management System (SMS) - Work closely with the AHA Head of Aviation Safety & Quality to integrate quality data into the broader SMS framework. Also assist him in periodically running the internal audit program to monitor compliance.
