Job Description
The successful new Quality Manager will be responsible for the following key duties:
- Drive and implement quality management across the business, supporting Project Managers on complex projects.
- Lead the audit programme to deliver continuous IMS improvements.
- Track, analyse, and report on quality KPIs.
- Develop and update guidance documents based on standards, growth, feedback, and lessons learned.
- Lead IMS integration for acquisitions.
- Audit and oversee subcontractor IMS compliance.
- Capture, monitor, and act on Lessons Learned.
- Collaborate across all UK offices to strengthen quality management processes.
- Define and coordinate closure of non-conformances.
- Provide inputs for management review meetings in line with Quality procedures.
- Identify and communicate regulatory and customer requirement changes across the business.
- Deputise for Senior QHSE Manager during external audits for the following:
- ISO 9001, ISO 140001, ISO 45001, and ISO19650
- RISQS, Achilles, etc.
- Ensure IMS requirements flow down to suppliers in procurement.
- Work with Systems & Standards Advisors to deliver staff training and effective audits/IMS changes.
- Coordinate customer satisfaction processes.
- Support bids, work winning, and contract start-ups.
- Undertake additional Quality tasks as directed by the Senior QHSE Manager.
- Assist with any other appropriate duties as delegated by line management.
Qualifications
Key Skills and Qualifications required:
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification with evidence of a CPD.
- Internal Auditor qualified (Lead Auditor desirable).
- Practitioner member of relevant institute (CQI, CIMA/ACCA, CIPD, IOSH, BCS).
- Proven management-level experience, including team leadership.
- Strong track record in business change, stakeholder influence, and operational excellence.
- Experience in international organisations and multi-stakeholder management (desirable).
