As a Quality Manager you will be supporting / managing the quality function of the business on the building on numerous Substations, OHL and UGC projects throughout the Aberdeenshire Region and surrounding areas, supporting our colleagues to deliver ‘Right First Time - Every time’ quality projects to our clients.
Within this role you’ll be a member of the Project Leadership Team and provide functional leadership to Project quality resources whilst also being the Project based quality expert practitioner to provide specialist support and a network of quality skills to support project delivery.
What you’ll be doing
To ensure the project plans for delivering products and services Right First Time, which meet requirements every time, support Built to Last philosophy and drive defect free delivery, the “Elimination of Waste” and reduce the “Cost of Non-quality” through-
Establishing quality related training, coaching & skills processes so that the project teams understand and manage the delivery quality expectations.

Ensuring the development, maintenance, and application of appropriate content for the PT&D BMS to meet the needs of the business whilst aligning with the requirements.

- Driving the quality metrics and monitoring and reporting on project performance relating to Quality and agree (and monitor) management actions to drive performance improvements.
- Ensuring the business is compliant with ISO 9001 and other client/industry/ quality related requirements.
- Ensuring business has processes in place to meet gated lifecycle Quality BMS requirements.
- Provision of Quality related training to equip the business with the skills to improve Quality performance.
- Coaching & developing quality skills in business streams
- Conduct audits, surveillances, and site quality tours, reporting on the results, and managing findings to closure.
