QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of quality management experience in a contract manufacturing environment with a focus on sheet metal fabrication and CNC machining.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems and ITAR regulations.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and interpreting GD&T for complex machined and fabricated parts.
• Skilled in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ASQ certification.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and quality modules.
• Familiarity with PPAP, FMEA, SPC, or APQP processes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead and oversee quality assurance and control operations in a contract manufacturing environment specializing in sheet metal fabrication and CNC machining. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality management systems to ensure products consistently meet internal specifications, customer expectations, and regulatory standards, including AS9100 and ITAR compliance.
