Description

As Quality Manager Reynaers Aluminium Duffel you are responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality within our company. You play a key role in defining, implementing and maintaining our quality management system, located in our head office in Duffel.
By means of effective quality controls, complaint analysis to the root cause and continuous improvement initiatives you ensure that our products meet the technical standards and the expectations of the customer. The internal processes are also continuously questioned and made LEAN.

Responsibilities
  • Management of two QC teams and one administrative function. Together this concerns a team of 12 people.You report to the Group Quality Manager.
  • Coordination, handling and follow-up of customer complaints (aluminium extrusion products, surface treatment, insulation, logistics processes).
  • Setting up, implementing and securing improvement projects based on root cause analysis.
  • Performing internal audits and warehouse/production tours to improve the quality and safety of our products and processes.
  • Analysis of quality data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and develop action plans.

  • Negotiations with suppliers to find a solution for our customer as quickly as possible will give you a boost.
  • In addition, you will ensure constructive cooperation with our various internal departments (R&D, sales, operations, project cell, supply chain, pricing, …) and you will analyze the various needs.

Your profile:

  • You preferably have a combination of a master’s degree and at least 5 years of work experience in a technical and/or operational environment.
  • Your affinity with quality is supported by relevant work experience or by some clear choices during your training.
  • You have knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard or are willing to learn this.
  • You are analytical and have great problem-solving skills.
  • You are assertive and dare to make decisions where and when necessary.
  • You have strong communication skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, motivate people and to work together at different levels within the organization.
  • Certifications such as Six sigma, LEAN Manufacturing or Quality Management are a plus.
  • You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and English.
