REF 53 - QUALITY MANAGER – SURREY BASED WITH TRAVEL ACROSS ENGLAND - £UP 70K BASE SALARY (WITH POTENTIAL NEGOTIATION) + 5K CAR ALLOWANCE – OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN AN INNOVATIVE PROVIDER OF CARE AND NURSING HOMES

Forest Care Selection are currently working with an innovative provider of care and nursing homes with operations across the South and developing into a variety of locations.
This provider is seeking a Standards Manager to have oversight of the service quality as well as standards and improvement projects for each of this providers homes.

The Standards Manager will:

  • Support and work with Home Managers to develop homes into the providers model of care and operating models.
  • Establish audit tools and frameworks and oversee the clinical governance of the homes with local nurse management teams.
  • Identify improvement plans through audit tools work with home managers to implement and develop through their continuous improvement plans.
  • Deliver training and development and support to site leaders to achieve the required standards of compliancy.
  • Lead on customer and staff complaints and compliments for the provider and be responsible for owning higher level complaint handling including safeguarding and ensure analysis is prepared for annual board reports.
  • Develop and consistently review the policies and procedures across the group and ensure their effective implementation and management at site level.
  • Working with the CEO to ensure that all site teams have consistent support and access to the senior leadership team.

The Standards Manager will need to have:

  • Experience of leading in CQC settings and establishing internal audit regimes.
  • Level 5 Health and Social Care or equivalent leadership qualification.
  • Track record in home management with a recent quality management background preferred
  • Nursing qualification with active or lapsed PIN preferred but not essential.
  • Effective communication and IT skills.
  • Ability to run improvement projects.
  • Ability to drive across locations Southern England with stays away from home.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive approach.
  • Passion for Elderly and Dementia care.
