SUMMARY

Responsible for creating, documenting, developing, and implementing procedures used to assemble, process, test and/or manufacture The Company’s products.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

*Associates Degree in Quality Engineering or a minimum of two years related experience and/or training in Quality or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to write reports and business correspondence; ability to effectively read and interpret blue prints;
ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals, groups of associates,
management representatives, suppliers and customers. Ability to utilize computerized word processing and
e-mail systems in the day-to-day functions of the job.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Establishes for high standards of quality, reliability and safety.
· Lead and/or participate in APQP/PPAP activities
· Monitors production department’s conformance with Quality Assurance standards and procedures.
· Maintains Customer Specific Quality System Requirements
· Conducts Quality Assurance training for employees.
· Suggests methods for improving product quality.
· Interfaces with Program Mgmnt, Materials, and Manufacturing.
· Leads Quality Department
· Leads TS16949 initiatives.
· Responsibility to act as liaison with external parties (customer & supplier) on matters relating to the quality system.
· Help define production process parameters to ensure products meet customer specifications.
· Develop, document, and provide for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, production, and quality.
· Create and update process Control Plans and FMEA.
· Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
· Perform Problem-solving Techniques
· Perform Process Capabilities using Statistical Techniques
· Read and Interpret GD & T
· Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
