Active license by the Kansas State Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in a hospital or rural healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
May require occasional travel to meetings, or to external events.
Responsibilities
Serve as the Chairman of the Quality Committee, providing leadership and organizing quarterly meetings of both the Quality Committee and the Provider Quality Committee.
Serve as a facility resource for Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement education, information, and assistance.
Ensure that quality data is submitted accurately and in a timely manner to appropriate regulatory and quality improvement entities (e.g., CMS, QHI, NHSN).
Actively contribute to the Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) Committee and provide leadership for bi-monthly meetings.
Assist departments in maintaining quality standards and support them in preparing reports and presentations for Quality Committee meetings.
Work closely with administrative and clinical leadership, including the CEO, to implement and execute quality improvement strategies within the hospital.
