QUALITY MANAGER – GLENFIELD

Graham’s The Family Dairy is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our team at the Glenfield site in Cowdenbeath.
We are looking for a Quality Manager who thrives in a complex, fast-paced environment and sees challenges as opportunities to help shape a culture of continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the Technical Manager you will take ownership of product quality and work collaboratively with the production team in championing factory standards. You’ll lead a team of Quality Technicians and have overall responsibility for all aspects of factory quality control and documentation.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

· Solid experience with BRC standards and retailer codes of practice.
· Internal auditing experience.
· Level 3 HACCP and Level 2 Food Hygiene certification.
· A proactive, detail-oriented approach and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

· Championing and driving product quality and factory standards.
· Ownership of testing schedules in line with relevant standards and customer COPs.
· Investigating and trending out-of-spec microbiology, chemistry and environmental results.
· Managing non-conforming product, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
· Managing on-site laboratory (chemical, not microbiological).
This role is ideal for a Quality Manager with a strong background in technical or quality roles within the food industry.
