Description Position Overview Under the direction of the Director of Quality, the Quality Manager leads a team of Quality Technicians to improve product quality across Johnson Health Tech North America (JHTNA). This role drives continuous improvement through inspections, rework, and refurbishment of products sold by JHTNA. The Quality Team issues corrective actions to Johnson factories and vendors. The Quality Manager manages team performance and cost centers to achieve annual KPIs; reviews quality reports and trends; and partners cross-functionally with Field Service, Customer Service, Operations, HQ, and factory teams to identify root causes, implement effective corrective actions, and prevent issues from reaching customers. The role also develops and maintains standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline defect documentation and reporting. The Quality Manager serves on the Product Safety Committee. Travel is required (domestic and international) approximately 6–12 times per year. This is an in-office position with an expectation of working on-site five days per week. Responsibilities Management: • Lead and inspire the team to take ownership and achieve company goals and annual KPI’s • Mentor team members and build an empowered team • Foster an atmosphere of growth and improvement • Manage cost centers and budgets Continuous Improvement: • Establish and manage processes and SOPs to: o Track Defects o Analyze Defect Data/Identify Trends o Identify Root Causes o Create Effective Corrective Actions o Rework Products o Refurbish Products Travel and Communication: • Travel to customer sites (domestically) and Manufacturing sites (internationally) 6-12 times per year • Communicate with domestic and global teams during non-business hours Requirements Education: • A minimum of a two-year degree in a technical field is required • ASQ certification is required Experience: • Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing or quality assurance roles • Experience using Six Sigma tools and techniques and leading Continuous Improvement Projects • Experience working with Asia-based teams in Manufacturing, R&D, and Quality Preferred: • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SAP • Proficiency in Office 365 products Benefits: We offer an excellent compensation package and team-oriented work environment with growth opportunities.
