Description
The primary function of the Quality Manager is to lead the definition, execution, and deployment of the strategic Quality Plan in conjunction with the plant leadership team. Manages the establishment and administration of a plant wide Quality Management System including Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and continuous improvement. This position also includes development and administration of product warranty programs and field upgrades for all plant products. In this role you will: Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with the plant Quality Manual and ISO 9001 requirements. Lead strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product, process, and service quality. Interface with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to support audits, inspections, and quality system understanding. Oversee final and in-process inspections, implement error-proofing solutions, and manage statistical feedback programs. Develop and deliver training programs related to QMS and provide quality leadership in new product and process development. Manage warranty processes, supplier quality activities, and coordinate cross-functional efforts for cost-effective resolutions. Analyze quality metrics, conduct management reviews, and recommend corrective actions to close operational gaps. Manage departmental budget and evaluate team performance for staffing decisions. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Five (5) years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or engineering Three (3) years of experience in managing people Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that reside outside a 50-mile radius of Jonesville, SC Quality Management System knowledge and experience (ISO 9001, TS16949). Strong knowledge of Power BI or equivalent tools to develop dashboards and visual metrics for operational performance. Understand EQS, ELSS, & EBE as components of the EBS, including the assessment process and criteria ASQ, CQE, or CMQOE certification. Six Sigma Blackbelt or Greenbelt certification.
