Minimum 5 years quality experience in implementing and/or maintaining quality management systems in the manufacturing industry.
Experience with ISO 9001-2015 required;
Internal Auditor certification considered and asset,
Knowledge of standard HSE requirements and practices in the manufacturing and offshore services industry considered an asset.
Responsibilities
Review and build upon the company’s quality management standards by overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of a leading quality management system.
Build upon and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals and quality procedures.
Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits.
Develop new standards for production and design, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for implementation across all business lines.
Ensure that products and processes comply with requirements of the quality management system.
Investigate customer complaints due to product or service quality, including ongoing contact with suppliers, customers, engineering, customer service and sales as well as the production group.
Proactively investigate root cause for non-conformance and/or improvement in product or service quality.
Perform or assist in root-cause analysis, corrective actions, follow up and reporting.
Set requirements for suppliers and monitor their compliance to company standards.
Supervise inspectors and testers, provide guidance and feedback.
Identify training needs and take action to ensure company-wide compliance.
Pursue continuing education on new solutions, technology, and skills.
