Salary: £65,000 – £80,000 per year

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

You really must have:

  • Recognised as an expert in quality, operations, operations framework, manufacturing, leadership principles and good understanding of general business processes
  • People management & leadership skills; including effective performance and change management skills (change agent)
  • A self-starter and motivated individual who can work on their own initiative but also effective as part of a wider team.
  • Degree educated or relevant work experience gained in an Operational, Engineering or Quality field.
  • A good level of working knowledge in the application of AS9100/ISO9001 standards.
  • Expert in influencing and negotiating with others using facts, proposals, data and analysis to support line of reasoning
  • Communicate quality at a leadership level in a non-technical influencing way
  • Success in mentoring and coaching in order to grow Quality excellence within the business
  • Experienced in reducing Cost of non-quality by identifying root causes and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to drive process improvements and product quality
  • Successful and demonstrable track record of excellent organisation, time and project management skills to deliver on time against competing priorities
  • Be a critical thinker with sound judgement skills and can identify potential risks and communicate mitigating strategies effectively

Responsibilities

You’ll play a pivotal role in driving excellence across processes, culture, safety, and customer satisfaction — all key to delivering world-class support and enabling continued growth.

  • Drive quality initiatives within an Integrated Project Team (IPT), providing strong leadership and championing a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus.
  • Collaborate with the CS3 Head of Quality, Site Head of Quality, IPTs, and Line of Business leadership to align quality strategies with business objectives.
  • Identify project-specific quality risks, threats, and opportunities, and take proactive measures to manage and mitigate them.
  • Review, develop, and agree on Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs), ensuring that quality activities are tailored to risk and improvement priorities across projects.
  • Develop an annual assessment and audit plan based on risk analysis, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with standards and identify improvement areas.
  • Track key quality performance metrics, analyse trends, and deliver actionable insights that lead to measurable improvements.
