Job Title: Quality Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

To ensure and oversee that the Quality System and all its interactions are in place within all levels of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7-10 years’ experience in Quality Management with ISO/QS background
  • Solid computer skills especially Microsoft Word and Excel
  • B.S. Degree in Quality Management or related field
  • Six Sigma or Lean experience
  • Good organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test products at various stages in the production process.
  • Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
  • Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan/procedure to bring the Quality systems and policies into compliance with quality system requirements.
  • Work with purchasing department to establish quality requirements for external suppliers.
  • Work in the cross functional network to achieve improvement.
  • Effectively communicate with other departments and cooperate to find a better solution.
  • Drive improvement efforts.
  • Manage and maintain the Company’s quality inspection and product release programs for incoming in-process materials and components, processes and finished goods.
  • Establish testing procedures to determine a product’s dimensions and its mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics.
  • Perform testing on materials, parts, or finished products to measure product performance under a variety of conditions.
  • Document test results and prepare the data in the form of a technical report with use of graphs or charts.
  • Determine the causes of product defects that may be found and develop methods for reducing their re-occurrence.
  • Supervise quality staff in carrying out tests, checks and audits
  • Coach, train and develop your team to be more successful every day.
  • Maintain ISO certification.
  • Supports and participates in Morgan Olson PPS team efforts.
  • Adheres to Quality Policy by exceeding customer expectations, being customer focused and supporting continuous improvement activities.
  • Adheres to Safety Policies and practices behavioral based safety 100% of the time.
  • Other duties as assigned.
