In this key leadership position, you will oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities at Klazienaveen, Zaandam and Amersfoort—ensuring we meet the highest standards in food safety, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. Your key responsibilities will be: Ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO standards, Quality Systems, GMP, and food safety requirements while driving continuous improvement initiatives, Overseeing and implementing Quality Assurance programs across Klazienaveen, Zaandam and Amersfoort, Recommending improvements to laboratory management processes and quality reporting systems, Collaborating with Sales and Technical Service teams to understand customer expectations and ensure these are prioritized in daily operations, Monitoring and reporting on customer complaint resolution efforts; lead the Corrective Action Request System, Supporting all three sites in achieving quality goals, identifying gaps, and applying statistical tools for problem-solving and decision-making, Managing QA Specialists and QC Supervisors across the three sites, fostering a strong culture of quality and accountability, Maintaining the quality system in compliance with GMP, FSSC22000, and ISO9001 guidelines. Developing and implementing procedures for the testing of raw materials, processes, and finished products, Participating as a member of the Klazienaveen Management Team and report directly to the Facility General Manager. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Food Technology or a related field, Minimum of 5 years of QA experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry, including managerial responsibilities, Strong knowledge of GMP, FSSC22000, and ISO9001 standards, Fluent in Dutch and English, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders, Strong analytical skills and the ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver with high accuracy, Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across multiple sites, Resilience under pressure and strong leadership capabilities.
