Description
Leading project management activities internal to the PMO. This includes managing program risks and issues. Track, monitor, and follow-up on client requests and internal tasks to ensure they're completed on time. Lead the quality initiatives for the PMO in accordance with the quality management plan. Oversee project audits of the module vendors implementing systems for the State Agency Manage internal projects for the PMO team focused on new services and changes in processes and tools Lead status and quality meetings and follow up as required. Ensuring applicable PMO standards are used to complete project tasks Expected to undertake any additional duties as they are assigned by their manager 6+ years managing IT Projects. Minimum 6 years managing multiple concurrent IT projects 6+ years of experience managing implementation and operations of Medicaid or Major Health Care Payer projects. 6+ years managing Quality / continuous Improvement Programs 3+ years managing risks and issues in an IT project setting 3+ years managing quality initiatives within a fast-paced, IT setting 3+ year conducting and reporting on audits for compliance 3+ years of experience managing or working with multi-contractor projects, or similar complex integration efforts. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Project Must be on client site at as requested by the client (less than 10%) Must be a team player and a consistent, dependable performer with an excellent work ethic, flexible "can-do" attitude, and a results-driven commitment to success Ability to work independently and manage work to a defined schedule Capable of conducting meetings and making presentations Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving and customer service skills Experience on an MMIS or insurance exchange project a plus
