Quality Manager Position Summary: Under limited supervision and in collaboration with the Director of Quality & Compliance, the Quality Manager will develop, implement, and maintain a robust QMS to ensure compliance with: ISO 9001 ISO 13485 AS9100 21 CFR Part 820 Key Duties and Responsibilities: Support internal and external audits to maintain certifications and regulatory compliance. Update QMS policies and procedures in alignment with evolving standards. Manage NCRs, CAPAs, root cause investigations, and corrective actions. Maintain audit-ready documentation and traceability systems. Prepare and present quality metrics and management review reports. Analyze quality data (defect rates, production trends) and drive improvements. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies. Support development of inspection methods and process controls. Collaborate with customers to clarify specifications and resolve concerns. Conduct supplier quality oversight and audits. Supervise and develop quality team members. Lead hiring, performance management, and employee development processes. Promote a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (Associate degree with significant relevant experience considered). Minimum 5 years of quality management experience in manufacturing. At least 3 years working with ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or ISO 13485 environment. 1–2 years of supervisory experience preferred. Strong working knowledge of SPC, FMEA, and analytical quality tools. Proficiency with ERP systems, Minitab, and Microsoft applications. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T. Strong algebra, geometry, and trigonometry skills. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Work Environment and Requirements: Must be a U.S citizen and able to comply with U.S. export regulations. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship. Must be able to travel domestically and internationally. Must be able to wear required PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, safety shoes).
