Vielfältige Aufgaben

In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the project-specific quality assurance requirements along the entire value chain, including checking the verification documentation. You will create and communicate quality-relevant risk assessments and initiate appropriate countermeasures within the tendering, design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning phases as a project-related quality manager for support structures and machine technology of a wind farm within our team. In detail, you will

  • Support the team in all matters relating to quality assurance. In doing so you will focus on the support structures of an offshore wind farm with the aim to effectively comply with project-specific quality standards
  • Prepare contract and project-specific QA specifications and support contract negotiations with suppliers, both as a member of the project management team and as a project representative for quality assurance
  • Review and evaluate quality-related documents from suppliers and compare with contract requirements including presentation of effects and risks
  • Plan and carry out production and product audits. Furthermore, you will coordinate and monitor project-specific acceptance tests for components of the supporting structures and machine technology during the project realization phase
  • Develop concepts and strategies to increase, in all relevant areas, QA standards and their documentation as a result of “lessons learned” from supervised projects

Überzeugendes Profil

  • You have successfully completed your studies in mechanical, civil or process engineering. Preferably, you have already gained in-depth knowledge in the field of offshore wind energy
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar position are desirable. This experience enables you to confidently apply QA methods, especially in complex situations
  • Experience in conducting supplier audits based on your sound knowledge of ISO 9001 is mandatory, as well as experience in production monitoring and coordination of external service providers
  • What’s more, you are practiced at preparing technical specifications, quality plans and contract documents. Your confident manner towards suppliers and your ability to present complex technical and planning issues are a valuable asset in doing so
  • Business fluency both in English and German is a must. Completed specialist engineering trainings, e.g. in the areas of welding, bonding, screwing, casting and as a coating inspector are desirable
  • As a solution-oriented person, you score with your structured and assertive way of working, your analytical way of thinking and an independent and autonomous working style. Your positive skill set is rounded off by strong communication skills and your ability to work in a team

Within the organisational unit Offshore Wind, the T-PE department concentrates EnBW AG’s engineering and technology know-how. It is the central point of contact and advisor for technical topics and a major contributor to successfully acquiring, developing, and executing offshore wind projects in Europe.
We are now looking for an experienced Quality Manager Offshore Wind Energy, Support Structures and Mechanical Engineering (f/m/d) who will report to the Team Lead HSE, CM & CA.
