Subsidiary OmniSource Responsibilities Ensure compliance with company Quality Management System. Perform QMS audits and identify deficiencies. Reports findings to managements and recommend corrective actions. Directs continuous improvement efforts. Manage quality and lab personnel. Direct, supervise, and train personnel. Maintain positive employee relations. Establish a positive working environment through good communication. Consistently adhere to all safety policies and procedures, and set an example for other employees with regards to behavioral safety. Other duties as required. Qualifications Required Handle confidential material in a professional matter. Team player, dedicated to the organization. Strong communication skills to successfully interact with employees, management, and customers. Strong knowledge of ISO 9000 quality standards and quality systems. Preferred Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field, and five years experience in manufacturing environment. Certifications/accreditations as a Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer or Quality Manager preferred. Strong computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Working knowledge of statistical and other math concepts. Ability to effectively manage time and personnel. Ability to present information to large groups effectively. Good problem solving skills. Ability to make decisions in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
