DBFL operates an NSAI-certified Integrated Management System incorporating our Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems in our Head Office in Dublin and across our three regional offices in Cork, Galway and Waterford.
As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the effective implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of DBFL’s Integrated Management System (IMS), encompassing:
ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management)
ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management)
ISO 45001:2018 (Health & Safety Management)

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Five or more years’ experience in a quality assurance or quality control position in Ireland
  • Applicants will need a minimum Level 7 qualification in business or a related field, with strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Proven experience in Quality Management within the engineering or construction sector would be a distinct advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001) and their practical application.
  • Strong background in leading audits and maintaining certification.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication (both verbal and written), and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyze systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively on own initiative, set priorities and work within required time lines.
  • Familiarity with operation and management of Common Data Environments (CDEs) would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the IMS to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead audits (both internal and external) and manage non-conformance processes to drive continual improvement.
  • Provide guidance and training to project teams on quality, environmental, and health & safety standards as they apply within the IMS.
  • Maintain a strong and clear IMS document management system, ensuring effective document control and management of updates.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate IMS principles into all stages of project delivery.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on IMS performance metrics, recommending strategic improvements.
  • Drive improvements to the IMS and investigate and participate in the implementation of further ISO certifications as required, eg ISO 19650.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, ensuring the organization remains compliant and competitive.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, sustainability, and safety across the organisation.
