POSITION SUMMARY

Our client is seeking a motivated, dedicated, and dynamic individual. QMS Manager will lead and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with UL standards and applicable industry regulations within the switchboard manufacturing sector. The role ensures that all quality processes, documentation, and performance metrics align with customer expectations, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.

SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS, AND SPECIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality assurance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a quality leadership role within the electrical equipment or switchboard manufacturing industry.
• Deep knowledge of ISO 9001, UL standards, and switchgear/switchboard manufacturing processes.
• Experience with inspection methods, quality tools (SPC, Pareto, 8D), and root cause analysis techniques.
• Strong knowledge of electrical components, schematics, wiring diagrams, and fabrication processes.
• Proficiency with quality software tools (e.g., Minitab, QMS systems, ERP integration).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or CQA (Certified Quality Auditor) are a plus.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Working knowledge of NEMA, ANSI, and IEC switchboard standards.
• Background in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience supporting the integration of quality into new product development (APQP, PPAP).

  Pay: $114,432.00 - $118,132.00 per year
