Description

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years in a quality management system in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Six-Sigma Green Belt certification highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling such as: Sheet Metal, assembly, machining, plastic injection, A&D, medical device manufacturing
  • Experience in Quality Management Systems and Internal / External Audits i.e. (ISO 9001, ISO13485, AS-9100, ITAR) preferred
  • Project Management skills that support manufacturing environments
  • Strong Data analytical skills with ability to communicate results
  • Strong written & communications skills
  • Certified Quality Engineer, Quality Manager, or other equivalent certification

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field preferred

Responsibilities
  • Align and execute a 1 QMS Cadrex system across all sites that meet corporate strategy
  • Design, document, and implement methods for process control (including SPC), process improvement, testing and inspection
  • Manage large projects to ensure timelines are met and appropriate resources have proper communication and direction
  • Conduct internal quality system audits (ISO, AS-9100, ITAR)
  • Facilitate and lead CAPA meetings, follow up on corrective actions to ensure CAPA’s are being resolved in a timely manner
  • Lead appropriate advanced product quality planning (APQP) processes within the organization to ensure product and process validation and verification
  • Develop and maintain tools for Quality System metric reporting. Ensure metrics are being reported accurately
  • Conduct & lead root cause analysis (8D methods), utilizing applicable tools to ensure robust solutions or improvements are determined and implemented
  • Work with an engineering team using past performance data to prevent future occurrences. Utilize tools such as DOE, DFM, FMEAs, GD&T, process capability, 6-sigma designs, Engineering Changes, etc
  • Assist disposition process by involving in failure analysis and suggest corrective actions as Material Review Board member
  • Support PPAP, IQ, OQ, PQ, NPI processes as required
  • Support compliance with RoHS, REACH based on internal & customer requirements
  • Partner on projects to SLT team and site leaders
