We are hiring for a Quality Manager – Product Release based in our Braeside Manufacturing Site.   This role is responsible for providing leadership and operational quality oversight for the Product Release Quality team. The role ensures Operations Quality and Compliance activities are performed in accordance with GMP requirements, regulatory expectations, Blackmores Quality Standards, and internal procedures.   This is a people leadership role where you will manage a team of Quality Assurance Associates – one based in Braeside, Victoria and 4 remotely based in Warriewood, NSW, driving quality excellence, compliance, continuous improvement, and audit readiness across product release operations coupled with capability building as well.   This role reports to the Head of Quality - Product Innovation & Lifecycle and is based fully onsite in Braeside, Victoria.     What will you do? * Lead and mentor the Product Release Quality team, providing coaching, prioritisation, and technical guidance. * Ensure product release quality activities are completed in accordance with GMP, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements. * Oversee investigations, deviations, non-conformances, CAPAs, change controls, and risk assessments to ensure timely and compliant resolution. * Drive a culture of quality ownership, accountability, continuous improvement, and audit readiness. * Partner with Operations, Warehouse, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, suppliers, and external manufacturers to resolve quality and compliance issues. * Monitor quality KPIs, compliance metrics, and team performance, implementing corrective actions where required. * Support the continuous improvement of quality systems, SOPs, processes, and team capability. * Provide quality oversight and technical support for product quality concerns, product holds, and operational compliance matters.      Who are you? * Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related discipline. * Minimum 5 years' or more experience in a regulated GMP manufacturing, pharmaceutical, complementary medicines, food, or related quality environment and at least 2 years’ or more of people leadership experience. * Proven experience dealing and managing high volume product release (at least 100-150 weekly) and working in a fast-paced, agile and regulated environment.  * Demonstrated experience leading or developing teams within a Quality Assurance or Operations Quality function. * Strong knowledge of GMP, Quality Management Systems (QMS), investigations, CAPA management, risk assessment, and compliance requirements. * Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and build strong working relationships across cross-functional teams and external partners. * Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, technical writing, and decision-making capabilities. * Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a passion for quality excellence and continuous improvement.      What we offer? * A technical leadership role in Braeside responsible for driving quality compliance and operational excellence across our product release activities while developing people leadership skills in a unique onsite and remote setting. * Opportunities to support your local community through paid community leave * Great benefits to support your health and wellbeing, including access to discounted products. * Mental health support for you and your family through our Sonder assistance program.     Blackmores Group is a leading natural health company with proud Australian heritage, with extensive reach across Asia Pacific.  Founded by visionary naturopath Maurice Blackmore in 1932, our vision is to connect every person on earth to the healing power of nature by combining our knowledge of nature and science to deliver quality health solutions to people and their pets everywhere, every day.     Blackmores Group operates in over 12 markets, with headquarters and a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Australia, and offices across South East Asia and China.   Agencies please note: this recruitment assignment is being managed directly by Blackmores Talent Acquisition team.
