OVERVIEW

An established specialist roofing and cladding contractor is seeking a detail-driven, systems-focused Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and control processes across commercial and public sector projects in Ireland. This critical role ensures delivery to the highest technical, compliance, and safety standards.
The successful candidate will report to the Construction Director and work closely with Contracts Managers, Project Managers, and site teams. This is a hands-on, high-impact position for a quality professional who combines strategic oversight with practical site-based involvement.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Quality Manager or Site QA/QC role within construction or construction manufacturing
  • Proven knowledge of QA/QC systems, ISO standards, and construction compliance requirements
  • Experience with roofing/cladding systems or envelope works is a strong advantage
  • Strong documentation and problem-solving skills with site-based experience
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with senior stakeholders
  • Proficient in MS Office and quality software tools (e.g. SnagR, Procore, Field View)
  • Full clean driver’s licence
Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of project-specific QA/QC plans, including ITPs and inspection checklists
  • Manage the company-wide quality management system in line with ISO 9001:2015
  • Conduct site audits and inspections across roofing and cladding works
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure correct materials, methods, and documentation are used
  • Review and approve project documentation including test certs, inspection forms, and close-out packs
  • Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across all project teams
  • Interface with clients, main contractors, and design teams on quality-related matters
  • Support pre-qualification and tender submissions from a quality and compliance perspective
