Description As the Quality Manager, you are responsible for leading all quality assurance activities within production to ensure customer orders meet established standards. This role oversees audits and inspections, guides and develops Quality Technicians, and drives accountability across all shifts. The Quality Manager investigates quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions, maintains accurate documentation and safety controls, and collaborates cross-functionally to resolve concerns and improve processes. Success in this role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to independently prioritize and manage departmental goals. Why SendCutSend? What you’ll do Manage production audits and inspections across all shifts, ensuring compliance with quality standards and proper sample selection Assess the quality standards and integrity of customer orders Establish clear performance expectations for Quality Technicians, providing coaching, guidance, and constructive feedback Recognize and reinforce outstanding performance to promote a positive and accountable work environment Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and lead Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) investigations Support internal investigations, including evidence gathering and documentation Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Customer Service, and Quality teams across locations to resolve issues and share best practices Document, track, and address quality issues to ensure continuity in quality assurance efforts Facilitate regular shift handover meetings to ensure seamless communication between shifts Ensure adequate time spent across all four production shifts Verify that critical safety control points are properly maintained and accurately recorded Maintain and update quality management logs and databases on a daily basis Determine departmental tasks, priorities, and goals with a high degree of independence Ensure efficient and timely communication across all channels Perform other related duties as assigned by the Operations Director Minimum Qualifications 3–5 years of management or supervisory experience in a manufacturing, production, or quality environment Strong working knowledge of production methods and quality assurance processes Understanding of workplace safety protocols and critical safety control points Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and documentation Proficiency in email communication and electronic data management systems Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a Quality Manager or in a management role Knowledge of strategic planning and continuous improvement methodologies Experience leading RCA and CAPA initiatives Strong supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and execute effectively Experience collaborating with cross-functional and multi-site teams Essential Physical Requirements Ability to repeatedly lift 25 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand and walk for 10 to 12 hour shifts Ability to bend, reach, and work around large industrial equipment Work Environment Manufacturing and production floor environment Work performed around CNC lasers, press brakes, and material handling equipment Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and metal materials Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Benefits Medical, Dental, & Vision coverage Paid holidays + PTO 401K with company match Tuition reimbursement Paid parental leave Short-term disability Lunch provided daily Employee discount on parts Salary Description $75,000 - $100,000, commensurate with background and experience
