Description
At Y Soft, we’re seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and elevate quality across our electronics manufacturing operations. Our production portfolio spans both our own print-management hardware - such as card readers and touchscreen terminals, developed and manufactured entirely in the Czech Republic - and customer products that range from cutting-edge VR headsets to smart waste-management devices. We partner with innovative tech startups, leveraging our deep expertise in prototyping and scaling to help transform their product ideas into reliable, high-quality mass production. We’re looking for an experienced professional who’s confident in their judgment, comfortable balancing standards with practical realities, and able to communicate clearly with decision-makers. If you’re interested in a role with real influence on product quality and customer satisfaction, this could be your next step. Our production facility is a close-knit team, yet our products reach customers worldwide, which brings both complexity and variety to the work. What you´ll do: Take full ownership of the entire quality process - from defining best practices to driving continuous improvements and fostering a quality-driven culture. Maintain, develop, and refine our Quality Management System (QMS) in line with standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 20001, and other relevant frameworks. Manage internal and external audits, act as the key contact for auditors, and ensure timely closure of non-conformities. Oversee the global customer complaint and claim process - from registration and root-cause analysis to implementing corrective and preventive actions and communicating with customers. Lead, support, and further develop our three-member Quality team. Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and business teams to ensure quality considerations are considered early in the product lifecycle. Monitor and analyse quality indicators (KPIs), propose improvements, and drive data-based decision-making. About you: You bring a strong quality background and the ability to navigate a dynamic manufacturing environment. Specifically, you have: Extensive experience with quality management systems in manufacturing. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standard, documentation control, audits, and complaint/claim resolution. Experience with root-cause analysis tools (e.g. 8D, FMEA, 5 WGY, Ishikawa etc.) Background in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) - even at a basic level. Strong communication skills - clear, confident, and adaptable to different audiences, from engineers to customers to leadership. Experience with leading and professional development of a team. Customer and business orientation - you enjoy solving problems and understand how quality impacts both customer satisfaction and company goals. Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and drive closure of actions. The confidence to make informed decisions, stand by them when needed, and offer pragmatic solutions that balance quality with operational realities. Comfort working with customers worldwide and teams across the company. Proficiency in Czech and English at least at the B2 level. We offer: 30 days of vacation 3 sick days 12 days for education and self-development (Grow Days) + language education support Meal allowances Hybrid working environment with a flexible schedule (combination of home and office work) Cross-team collaboration with a great opportunity to learn new things and grow Reward system for public speaking Daily refreshment in office + community breakfasts Large parking area right next to the workplace Free use of a fully equipped hobby workshop, including 3D printers, lasers, and various machinery
