Department: Quality Resource Management #8751 POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality Nurse Specialist is responsible for coordinating quality improvement strategies, reporting, statistical analysis, training and documentation across the organization to actively promote continuous improvement with a focus on measureable quality measures against top quartile performance. This position is also responsible to administer the process for assessing, identifying, monitoring and reducing pertinent risks that could interfere with the hospitals regulatory compliance, accreditation or general liability exposure.  * Registered Nurse by the State of California * Five (5) years in acute care nursing * Joint Commission & Regulatory standards * CPR American Heart Association  th the California Pay Transparency Act, Imperial Valley Healthcare District (IVHD) posts the pay range for all jobs. Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
