WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Current APHRA registration as RN with no conditions or restrictions
  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in a Quality role (preferred, not required).
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the aged care industry is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles, relevant legislation and industry standards
  • Familiarity with Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff at all levels
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve quality outcomes
  • COVID Vaccination Evidence
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency with unrestricted work rights

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Quality Officer to join our team at Christadelphian Aged Care in North Parramatta, NSW. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to make a meaningful impact on the quality of care we provide to our residents.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Developing, implementing and monitoring quality assurance systems and processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Conducting audits, reviews and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Analysing and reporting on quality indicators and performance data to drive continuous quality improvements
  • Providing training and support to staff on quality management practices
  • Collaborating with the clinical team to investigate and resolve any quality-related issues or complaints
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation and records to demonstrate quality performance
