Description

Overview Analyst working in the laboratory in Little Island. Responsibilities Comply with Confidentiality Policy Ensure the accurate and timely analysis and disposition of products in compliance with ISO17025 accreditation Become familiar with the material/product portfolio Registering QC samples in the laboratory management systems accurately Meticulous attention to sample data entry and preparation Prepare all samples in a timely manner Ensure timely and effective issue resolution and communication Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as required. Maintain all relevant records and samples in an organised system for quick and effective access to information with a particular focus on trace-ability Adhere to safe lab practices and GLP Organise the replenishment of relevant laboratory supplies Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with Pepsi’s Product Development group. Liaise with manufacturing and R&D on the smooth introduction of new products during and after scale-up. A requirement of this role is that all PepsiCo Health and Safety requirements are adhered to. Qualifications Essential criteria BSc in food science or equivalent Additional Desired qualifications and/or experience Testing experience Good interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to positively influence others and lead teams. Good troubleshooting skills. Ability to manage a varied workload. Ability to work on own initiative, self-motivated. For the purposes of external advertising we have called this role Quality Operations Senior Coordinator. However please note that the internal job title the successful candidate will be Onsite FS & Qlty Ops Sr Coord.
