EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural Engineering, IT or related field
  • 6+ years experience with automotive, agricultural or construction equipment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years’ experience with Data Analysis tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, and Microsoft Excel
  • 3+ years’ experience working with statistical tools and/or analytics
  • Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python, VBA, or SQL) for data processing and automation
  • Solid understanding of information systems and their role in quality, warranty, and compliance processes.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical findings to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

As the Quality & Product Improvement Specialist, you will solicit, collect, analyze, summarize, and present technical information and develop and propose product improvement programs. The Quality & Product Improvement Specialist will, analyze product quality data from North American markets and generate actionable insights to help the team address top priorities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop technology-based tools (e.g., Power BI or similar platforms) to clearly and consistently present field quality data.
  • Ensure key warranty issues and customer perception metrics are clearly identified for each product line and manufacturing facility.
  • Analyze warranty data in relation to warranty costs, and interpret and continuously improve information systems that manage these calculations to ensure accurate reflection of reality and support CNH in audits and compliance processes.
  • Standardize analytical methodologies across different Product Problem Solvers (PPS) in the region and globally to ensure consistency in prioritization and reporting.
  • Support the finance department by providing clear explanations for month-over-month variations in reserve adjustments based on warranty data.
  • Manage the Product Improvement Process (PIP), ensuring recall launches are carefully coordinated, that process steps flow efficiently, and stakeholders are continuously informed of required actions. Develop Power BI dashboards for PIP monitoring.
  • Monitor ongoing PIPs (recalls) to ensure timely and proper implementation, effective resource use, and adherence to planned timelines.
  • Finance basic knowledge: budgeting process, economics, forecast.
