Description PURPOSE OF THE JOB Maintains a world-class QMS system through leadership, vision, strategy, and execution. Requirements ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES · With support and input from Quality Engineer (QE), Quality Specialist (QS) & Quality Process & Documentation Specialist, develops and installs an effective quality assurance system (QMS). · Develops and manages non-conformance visibility systems. · Monitors and maintains AS9100 Internal Audits, Ensures completion, submittal and approval of quality and process documentation. · Monitors customer feedback and creates dispassion’s in the QMS · Develops and executes effective and efficient internal audit plans. · Leads and directs all audits. · Asses, identify, and recommend advanced staffing, equipment, software, and technical solutions to enhance quality assurance results. Participates in continuous improvement processes individually and with teams, and champions projects to improve cost, quality, and delivery. Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives. This position description is intended to guide the activities of the Quality Inspector. It is not intended to limit the thinking and creativity of the person to the work of this function, nor is it intended to describe all the work that may be required of the person in this position. OTHER EXPECTATIONS Take responsibility foractions and work completed in and by the quality team. Provide management andleadership to the team. Ensure morale and culture are excellent, that all team member’s master the duties of their roles and are growing their skills, and that staff are able to manage their conflicts constructively and professionally. Maintain constructive, highly trusting working relationships with peers and direct supervisor. Raise concerns timely to one's own manager when one cannot solve an issue directly, and it affects delivery. COMPENTENCIES Educational Requirements Associates in a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience Technical Experience: 5-10 years’ experience working within and managing a quality system. 2-4 years’ experience managing personnel. 2-5 years’ experience working within and managing an AS9100 compliant quality system. Industry Experience: Experience in metal forming required. Experience in deep draw metal stamping industry preferred.
