Our Tax department has an exciting opportunity for a senior/Assistant Manager officer to join its Quality & Risk Management (QRM) team. Our Tax QRM team plays an important role in implementing high quality standards, protecting Deloitte’s reputation, and monitoring the management of risks associated with the business developed by the Tax department of Deloitte.
The role involves collaborating with the Tax Risk Leader and QRM team to develop and implement a robust QRM Programme for the Tax business. By joining our team, you would help us monitor the quality of our Tax team’s work and support the tax team on risk areas related to tax services and to our client base. These are the most important factors associated with our work as QRM team in Tax Business that delivers an increasingly diverse and complex range of services to our clients.
The successful candidate will gain extensive experience engaging with Partner, Director and Manager groups to manage the QRM Programme, and gain exposure to all aspects of our Tax business and the Firm central risk department. The work is highly diversified and covers risk related aspects of the business including but not limited to onboarding, contracting, delivery, testing, transforming, terminating, etc.

YOUR SKILLS

  • A degree in Business, Law, Economics, or related discipline;
  • 2-4 years of experience in Tax, Risk management, Compliance, Internal Control, or similar fields within a professional service environment;
  • Analytical and risk-minded with a pragmatic and results-oriented approach allowing to propose sound solutions;
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines;
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Proficient in data analysis and the use of basic technology (e.g., Excel);
  • Fluent in English and proficient in French or another language.
    This position promises exposure to a diverse range of services and close collaboration with different departments, offering a comprehensive understanding of the Tax business and risk management landscape.
