Ro is a direct-to-patient healthcare company with a mission of helping patients achieve their health goals by delivering the easiest, most effective care possible. Ro is the only company to offer nationwide telehealth, labs, and pharmacy services. This is enabled by Ro’s vertically integrated platform that helps patients achieve their goals through a convenient, end-to-end healthcare experience spanning from diagnosis, to delivery of medication, to ongoing care. Since 2017, Ro has helped millions of patients, including one in every county in the United States, and in 98% of primary care deserts.
Ro has been recognized as a Fortune Best Workplace in New York and Health Care for four consecutive years (2021-2024). In 2023, Ro was also named Best Workplace for Parents for the third year in a row. In 2022, Ro was listed as a CNBC Disruptor 50.
We’re looking for a Quality and Safety Manager with a focus on safety and risk management to support the increasing volume and complexity of clinical incidents, patient safety initiatives, and emerging risks across our platform. Reporting to the Associate Director of Patient Safety and Risk Management, you will be a key contributor to Ro’s patient safety program, responsible for managing event intake, conducting investigations, performing safety monitoring, and supporting high-priority projects tied to widespread or time-sensitive care delivery issues.
In this role, you will take a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to patient safety, owning critical but often behind-the-scenes tasks like auditing and incident investigation. At the same time, you will take a more strategic and visible lead in our risk management efforts, helping shape and operationalize Ro’s approach to clinical risk across new technologies, treatments, and care delivery initiatives.
This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data from incidents and safety initiatives into actionable insights that drive both immediate improvements and long-term impact. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to manage and communicate adverse events, share risk evaluations, and support broader safety and risk mitigation efforts.
At Ro, you’ll help build technology that empowers individuals to live healthier lives—and equips providers to deliver exceptional care at scale.
