We’re looking for a Quality Specialist – Lab & Sanitation to join our team and play a key role in maintaining strong laboratory standards, food safety, and compliance across the site. Our Chelsea Heights site is in Melbourne’s south-east, manufacturing a range of more than 44 milk, milk-based beverages and cream products. The site currently produces around 100 million litres of product every year! Responsibilities Support and maintain laboratory quality systems and ensure compliance with site, group, and customer standards Coordinate laboratory operations, including equipment servicing, calibration, and consumables management Work closely with teams to monitor food safety, hygiene, and environmental programs across the site Assist with audits, testing, and investigations, helping to identify root causes and support continuous improvement Contribute to reporting and insights, sharing trends and supporting quality and environmental performance review About you Experience in food safety, quality, or laboratory environments within Dairy/ FMCG manufacturing Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills Curious and detail-oriented, with a practical problem-solving mindset Familiar with compliance standards (HACCP, GMP, GLP, BRC) Self-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Bega Group Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
