Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field, or relatable, proven experience with increasing leadership responsibility.
  • Proven experience in a quality leadership role within an IATF 16949 certified automotive manufacturing environment is a plus, must have experience in ISO 9001:2015 at minimum.
  • In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing and quality control methodologies.
  • Must be process oriented and driven to build and develop zero-ppm process.
  • Strong understanding of automotive industry quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with root cause analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Proficient in the use of quality management software and tools.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of production associates, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of competence and efficiency. Must embrace and be a leader in our Lean Culture of Continuous Improvement.
  • Quality Management System:
  • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 standards.
  • Process Audits:
  • Conduct regular process audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Product Inspections:
  • Implement and manage product inspection processes to verify conformance to specifications, including dimensional accuracy, visual appearance, and material properties.
  • Root Cause Analysis:
  • Lead root cause analysis investigations for non-conforming products, customer complaints, and quality incidents, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
  • Supplier Quality Management:
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to establish and maintain effective supplier quality management processes, including supplier audits and performance evaluations.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality, process efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of quality-related processes, inspections, and corrective actions. Generate reports for management review.
  • Training and Development:
  • Provide training programs for quality inspectors and other relevant staff to enhance their skills and understanding of quality processes.
  • Customer Interaction:
  • Act as a point of contact for customer quality-related inquiries, participate in customer audits, and work collaboratively to address customer concerns.
