JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Manager the Quality Supervisor is responsible for implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System.
The Supervisor will preform daily audits as well as forward thinking in identifying process improvements to increase the effectiveness, and quality of company operations.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of experience in a Tier 1 automotive environment role utilizing IATF 16949.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills for liaising and communicating with internal departments.
  • Practical experience with Quality Plans (Process Flow, FMEA and Control Plans) capability studies
  • Self-disciplined capable of multi-tasking.
  • A history of problem identification and problem resolution.
  • Able to foster and strengthen lasting relationships with other departments and our customers.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team building attitude.
  • Proficiency in with Microsoft Office productivity suite

Responsibilities
  • Support IATF-16949 Quality system.
  • Promote and advocate quality achievement and performance improvement across the manufacturing operation.
  • Monitor QA systems and report performance against set goals.
  • Work with manufacturing to ensures full satisfaction with the company’s products.
  • Support continuous improvement through the use of quality control tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) into processes.
  • Be prepared to act as liaison with customer auditors and assume responsibility for ensuring corrective actions with customer specifications.
  • Maintain QA control documentation.
