Description
Manage quality control activities to ensure the conformance of manufactured products/equipment with customer specifications and their unique product performance requirements. Provide the Quality interface and expertise between the operation and its customers including managing complaints and taking corrective actions. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution. Three (3) years experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or Product Engineering. No relocation is being offered for this role. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution. CQE or CQM Certification Thorough understanding of problem solving methods-i.e. Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis, and the associated statistical tools to analyze problems, evaluate and complete improvement projects. Working knowledge of ISO, Quality Management System and Six Sigma. Detailed knowledge of process auditing techniques to ensure compliance to defined quality requirements. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts and tool sets as they relate to process/product variability, and root cause and corrective action determination. Thorough knowledge of gauging and inspection techniques Strong problem-solving skills are essential.
