SUMMARY:

This position is responsible to supervise and drive continuous improvement for a quality team. This position also ensures the team is led in accordance with Andersen Corporation’s values, employee covenant, and strategic direction.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • 5+ years of quality experience or equivalent combination of formalized technical education and experience
  • Strong technical knowledge and highly effect individual contributor
  • Demonstrated leadership of projects or processes.
  • Business acumen and knowledge
  • Support senior leader in preparing and planning budget
  • Knowledge of adjacent functional areas that interact with quality
  • Must have demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication, facilitation and persuasiveness in small and large group settings.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Strong skills in managing teamwork, interpersonal conflict, and collaboration effectively.
  • Ability to coach, train and develop others.
  • Establish an environment conducive to high levels of inclusion, morale, associate satisfaction, and performance

Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard employees under the supervision of a more senior leader.
  • Translate team strategy into actions for team to carry out under the direction of a more senior leader.
  • Execute projects to carry out team strategy.
  • Provide direct leadership to team.
  • Provide indirect leadership to other support functions (matrix organization).
  • Provide coaching, feedback and development to team, promoting career growth opportunities.
  • Ensure the desired work quality levels are achieved through use of standard work and training to those standards, and use of tools/data.
