Job Description Summary of Position The Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the implementation of quality control measures and standards within the organization. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality of products, processes, and services. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and leadership abilities will contribute to the overall success of the company's quality management efforts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage daily performance of QC staff Responsible for leading, motivating, and training QC personnel to meet or exceed department and company goals and objectives Lead or assist in Quality department projects as assigned by Management and assist Engineering and Manufacturing with projects, as appropriate Investigate root cause of customer complaints and initiate/complete corrective action, as appropriate Propose, promote and champion actions to improve quality, processes and product Eliminate process variation and product defects through creative solutions Maintain ISO based quality systems Implement and manage systems to complete statistical analyses and control of all products including raw materials, WIP materials, non-conforming products, and finished goods Ensure customer requirements are met Devise ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency Actively drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives using all available tools and technologies Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies Participate in internal and external audits Develop and present KPI reports Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Skills Ability to work cross-functionally Effective interpersonal and communication skills Excellent time-management skills Ability to work independently and as a part of team Strong project management skills Knowledge of all PV related certification including but not limited to; UL1703, IEC 61215, IEC61730-1, IEC61730- 2 Knowledge in working with Lean Manufacturing/JIT, Six Sigma methodologies and Total Quality fundamentals Proficient in Excel Traits Detail oriented Excellent mistake-proofing, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Education and/or Experience Bachelors degree in STEM, related field, or equivalent work experience 3+ years in Quality Assurance 5 years in PV manufacturing or another PV-related field, preferred 5 years in Supervision/Management preferred Additional Information Compensation and Benefits Competitive Market Wages Paid Time Off (vacation, sick, and holiday) Employee Assistance Program Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance Plans Employee Assistance Program Tuition Reimbursement Program Employee Recognition Programs Employee PV Panel Purchase Program Site: Fort Mill, SC Department: Quality & Continuous Improvement
