QUALITY SUPERVISOR - EXEMPT Summary: The Quality Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the adherence of manufactured PVC pipes to both internal and external regulatory standards. This position involves overseeing the Quality Control department to deliver efficient services that uphold product quality. Supervisory Responsibilities: Plan, organize, train, and lead the Quality Control department to provide effective quality control services for PVC pipe production. Reports To: Plant Manager / Quality Control Manager Duties/Responsibilities: * Ensure strict adherence to procedures preventing subpar quality products from reaching the market. * Enforce safety protocols and company policies, ensuring employees' compliance. * Conduct audits with NSF, UL, and FM, maintaining all associated documents. * Review departmental paperwork to ensure compliance with NSF, UL, and FM requirements. * Maintain adequate staffing levels in the Quality Control Department. * Ensure fulfillment of all testing requirements. * Manage essential Quality Department supplies, tools, and paperwork. * Oversee essential Production Department tools (O.D. Tapes, calipers, micrometers) and paperwork. * Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the Quality Control Manager. Required Skills/Abilities: * Stay current with the latest industry standards. * Train Quality staff in accepted Quality standards. * Schedule manpower requirements based on production schedules. * Supervise and train Quality staff to support production requirements. * Apply sound judgment when evaluating Quality assessments of final products.     Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of industrial Quality experience and 2 years of supervisory experience or an Associate’s Degree in a technology-based discipline with 3 years of industrial Quality experience. Physical Requirements: * Must work comfortably in a noisy environment, focusing on work activities safely. * Capable of performing medium physical work, including moving objects up to 50 lbs. * Able to work in both low and high-temperature environments occasionally.
