KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Help maintain Quality Management Systems in accordance with SQF and other certification requirements
• Inspect daily output to ensure viability, or take all appropriate action from coordinating to participating in the packaging of product
• Manage the Document Center to control the quality documents ensuring applicable documents in proper use
• Follow up customer complaints and take appropriate corrective and preventive actions when poor quality is found
• Set up and maintain the Production Structures and Production Formulas for mixing items
• Set up and maintain the nutritional facts data center as required
• Review and continually update labels and packaging requirements in the system
• Partner with the Purchasing Department to evaluate suppliers
• Promote the staff awareness of quality procedures, hygiene and safety through proper training and advising

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A university degree/diploma in Food Science or similar
• HAACP certification is an asset
• Experience in quality management or equivalent (food industry an asset)
• Product functionality knowledge
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• A valid driver’s license
