QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Quality, Engineering, or a technical discipline preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing, automotive, or quality-related environment is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and report data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Team-oriented, professional, and responsive in customer-facing settings.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing, maintaining, and distributing daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports (e.g., scrap, inventory, audit findings).
  • Collect and document feedback from customer operations, including photos, defect details, and traceability data.
  • Support monitoring of customer plant processes, including product inspections, containment activities, and quality alerts.
  • Assist with sorting, containment, and organizing defective or suspect material as directed.
  • Track and follow special control batches, test runs, and sample parts; maintain proper documentation.
  • Provide administrative support during test runs, new samples, and trial builds by preparing notes and ensuring follow-up.
  • Attend customer floor walks, verification station reviews, and shift start meetings when required; record and circulate meeting notes.
  • Assist with proactive monitoring and reporting on machining, OEE, and leak test performance.
  • Help coordinate communication with customer by ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Participate in quality calls as requested, primarily to document action items and follow-ups.
  • Maintain organized records of audits, reports and corrective action documentation.
  • Support problem-solving activities by gathering data, photos, and operator feedback to share.
  • Ensure compliance with all site, corporate and safety procedures while carrying out responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of the quality team.
